DAMAGING WINDS averaging 80 to 90 km/h with peak gusts up to 110 km/h are possible over alpine areas above 1900 metres from this afternoon, with BLIZZARDS also possible. Otherwise, isolated DAMAGING WIND GUSTS of around 90 km/h are possible this afternoon over parts of the Snowy Mountains below 1900m. Damaging winds and blizzard conditions are forecast to persist through to early Tuesday morning. Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and westerly winds are expected during Monday and Tuesday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the Snowy Mountains forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
