DAMAGING WIND averaging 55 to 65 km/h with peak gusts of up to 100 km/h are possible over alpine areas this evening. Above 1900 metres, DAMAGING WINDS may also average 80 to 90 km/h with BLIZZARDS possible. Damaging winds and blizzards are forecast to ease during early Tuesday morning. Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and southwesterly winds are expected during Tuesday and Wednesday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the Snowy Mountains forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
