DAMAGING NORTHWESTERLY WINDS averaging 80 to 90 km/h with peak gusts of around 110 km/h are possible for alpine areas above 1900 metres from this afternoon until early Wednesday morning. Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and westerly winds are expected during Tuesday and Wednesday. Areas likely to be affected include the Snowy Mountains forecast district and parts of the Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts.
