In south central Indiana, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin and Sullivan. In west central Indiana, Clay, Fountain, Montgomery, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren. * WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall amounts up to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Wabash River at Covington. Wabash River at Riverton. Wabash River at Terre Haute. Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site. Wabash River at Montezuma. .Minor river flooding continues on the Wabash River from Covington to Riverton following widespread one and a half to four inches of rainfall Wednesday and Wednesday night. Additional heavy rainfall of one to two inches is expected on Sunday and Sunday night. Minor river flooding will continue into next weekend or into the following week for portions of the Wabash River. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Covington. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Five Crossings, a local county river park at old U.S. Highway 136 bridge site, begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 16.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:45 AM EDT Saturday was 17.1 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage this afternoon to 12.2 feet early Monday morning. It will then rise above flood stage early Tuesday morning to 18.8 feet early Wednesday afternoon.
