Verdigris River at Coffeyville affecting Montgomery County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Verdigris River at Independence. * WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 27.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 30.0 feet this afternoon. - Flood stage is 30.0 feet. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown.
