However, we are seeing diminishing coverage and expect this to continue over the next several hours. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Heavy rainfall has exited the area; however, high water will continue through the rest of this afternoon. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Monticello, Cooper, Slickford, Oil Valley, Hidalgo, Burfield, Susie, Mount Pisgah, Powersburg, Barrier, Zula, Parmleysville, Coopersville, Rockeybranch, Sunnybrook, Griffin, Parnell, Cabell, Kidds Crossing and Ritner. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
