HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Lafayette, New Iberia, Abbeville, Scott, Rayne, St. Martinville, Jeanerette, Kaplan, Cypremort Point, Avery Island, Broussard, Youngsville, Erath, Delcambre, Duson, Maurice, Loreauville, Lydia, Wright, and Mire. This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 90 and 104. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
