The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a * Flood Watch for a portion of southeast Michigan, including the following areas, Lenawee, Monroe, Washtenaw, and Wayne. * Through Sunday morning * Rainfall early this morning amounted to 1.5 to 2 inches across the area. Additional showers and scattered thunderstorms will affect the area tonight. There is the chance for an additional inch or more of rain. So some locations may see 32 Hour rainfall totals in excess of three inches. * Flooding of roads and streets may occur. Small creeks and rivers may overflow their banks. A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
