Flood Advisory issued June 8 at 12:20AM CDT until June 8 at 3:15AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Kansas, including the following counties, Johnson, Leavenworth and Wyandotte and west central Missouri, including the following counties, Clay, Jackson and Platte. * WHEN...Until 315 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1220 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
