Tornado Watch issued June 20 at 1:50PM MDT until June 20 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH 357 UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING WHICH REPLACES A PORTION OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 356. THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN NEBRASKA THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 4 COUNTIES IN PANHANDLE NEBRASKA BANNER CHEYENNE KIMBALL MORRILL THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ANGORA, BAYARD, BRIDGEPORT, BROWNSON, HARRISBURG, KIMBALL, REDINGTON, AND SIDNEY.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 20 at 7:45PM MDT until June 20 at 8:15PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY At 744 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Minatare to 7 miles east of Harrisburg to 14 miles east of Albin, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Scottsbluff, Gering, Bayard, Terrytown, Minatare, Melbeta, McGrew, Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area, Scotts Bluff National Monument, Chimney Rock National Historic Site, Harrisburg, Scottsbluff Airport, Redington, Wrights Gap, Moomaw Corner, and South Bayard Junction. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for the Panhandle of Nebraska. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
