Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected from late this morning into tonight. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Newark, Jersey City, Jamaica, Elizabeth, Flatbush, Flushing, Passaic, Bayonne, Hoboken, Plainfield, Bloomfield, Hackensack, Linden, Orange, Coney Island, Summit, Lyndhurst, Millburn, Rutherford and Secaucus.
