For the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 8 PM MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The hottest temperatures will occur along the U.S. 64 and U.S. 491 corridors, including Bloomfield, Farmington, Shiprock, and Newcomb. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. If you do not have air conditioning in your home or lack shelter, you can call 211 for assistance locating appropriate shelter from the heat.
