Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 5 at 7:19PM CDT until July 5 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS Bismarck ND At 719 PM CDT /619 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles north of Halliday, or 30 miles northwest of Beulah, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Halliday, Dodge, Twin Buttes and Fort Berthold. Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing dangerous hail and damaging winds.
