Red Flag Warning issued July 3 at 10:27AM PDT until July 4 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS Spokane WA ...DRY, WINDY CONDITIONS SATURDAY... The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 1 PM to 8 PM PDT Saturday. * Affected Area: Lower Palouse -Snake River (Zone 709). * Winds: West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * Relative Humidities: 14 to 23 percent. * Impacts: Rapid fire spread is likely with any new or ongoing fires. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
