Flood Watch issued June 22 at 10:52AM EDT until June 22 at 11:00PM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Virginia, including the following area, Tazewell and southeast West Virginia, including the following areas, Eastern Greenbrier, Mercer, Monroe, Summers and Western Greenbrier. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - An upper level disturbance will interact with ample moisture and a front to bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region.
