Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 24 at 7:02PM CDT until June 24 at 7:30PM CDT by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WI At 702 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Oakfield to 6 miles west of Lomira to 6 miles southeast of Markesan, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Beaver Dam, Waupun, Mayville, Horicon, Lomira, Theresa, Burnett, Fox Lake, Brownsville, Kekoskee, Atwater, Astico, Knowles, and Minnesota Junction. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.

Flood Advisory issued June 24 at 7:02PM CDT until June 24 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WI * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of east central, south central, and southeast Wisconsin, including the following counties, in east central Wisconsin, Fond du Lac. In south central Wisconsin, Columbia and Green Lake. In southeast Wisconsin, Dodge. * WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 659 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.8 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen in a short period of time and the storms are tracking south- southeast. - Minor street flooding and heavy field flooding was occurring in the Waupun area around 6:45 PM. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
